Perfect. Plenty of light over the dining room table. I used the shorter length threaded bar. I assembled it myself. 78 year old grandma. I used both the bishop hooks and the silver hooks because I wanted the cord to be somewhat snug to the ceiling. I like that I can use the diffuser or not. Sometimes I want a very bright light over my dining room table because I tend to do crafting there. When I need extra light, I can just unscrew and remove the diffuser and change my soft light bulbs to daylight bulbs.

Looks great. Was a bit wonky to get the bottom piece installed of the light assembled, but I worked through it. I had an odd overhead socket in a dark space, this worked perfectly.
