This lamp is perfect for low ceilings when you don't want something completely flush mount. It will go in a modern and traditional space., A new cons: the shade is more white than I was expecting based on the pictures. There is no cover on the top of the light, so dust may collect in the bottom of the drum and become visible when the light is turned on.
