I self-installed this unit in my garage last October to charge my Hyundai EV. PROS: -Compact and well made. -Straightforward to install. -Easy to use, with no smartphone app to deal with. -Delivers a consistent 9.6 kW to my vehicle's charge-port. -Stout cables barely get warm to the touch, even after hours of charging. -Very affordable, especially when on sale for close to two hundred dollars. CONs: -The charging cable is a bit short at just 18 ft. If my EV had a front charge-port I would have to back it in to charge inside my garage. -Manufacturer should supply instructions (and better yet hardware) for mounting the charger on drywall over wood studs. All in all I'm completely satisfied with this Level 2 charger.

Set up was much easier than I had anticipated too. The cords are super sturdy and long enough. It isn't as bulky as others of this type. I am very pleased. It took less than 10 minutes for the guy to install it with an adapter. There aren’t many pieces or steps, it’s really not complicated. The charger works perfectly and provides speedy charging. It comes with its own holder that is very secure, keeping it out of the way of children and car wheels at all times. I decided years ago to limited my impact on the planet. I love with this legrand charger it helps me meet that goal. EV is the way to be! I took pics of the unboxing to show how absolutely simple this set up is. That’s it. Literally. It came partially assembled already, so that’s a win. You can install this indoors or outdoors. I chose to have it inside my two car garage as the set up for installing and usage was just best there in my opinion for my home. It also takes up far less space than I imagined. You could really tuck this powerful little charger almost anywhere. Starting my day everyday will a full charge lets me have the freedom throughout the day with one less worry. Takes about 8 hours for mine, some days a bit less. I wish I would have gotten one of these sooner. The quality is that of commercial grade chargers. You will know as soon as your see it and touch it, there is definitely a difference. It’s pretty fine. I expect this to last a very long time, the attention to detail is unmatched. This unit works with many different vehicles as well, if you have multiple electric vehicles in your household you should be covered. Its lighting system is super easy to read and understand. Even in a dimly lit garage. The cord is very generous and strong. I can easily reach my car no matter which of the two spots in my garage I park in. My car can also be reached from just outside my garage to charge because the cord still reaches. I feel safe with legrand being installed in my home to charge my vehicle. Every safety precaution has been taken. Definitely a worthy item to add to your list. Just makes life so much easier. It also saves time (it did for me) if you’re looking to upgrade your charger to a faster and better quality unit. This would also make the most top tier gift to an EV owner you know and love. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a couple different EV chargers and this Pass and Seymour - Plug-In Home Level 2 Electric Vehicle Charger beats them all. Its made very well with good material. The cords are heavy duty and you feel it when you pick them up. The plug in to car end is very well made and fits in so nice, comes with a holder and a rubber grommet to keep it dry. The entire unit is made with great craftsmanship. It comes with everything you need to set it up all the hardware is included, It is ready to use out of the box and thats a great feature. I like it can be installed inside or outside gives you more choices to where you'd like to install it. when i seen it online it looked very small but was i mistaking its a good size unit i see it having no problems for years to come. I think its a great value and i would recommend this to anyone that has an EV even a Tesla you can get the adapter for a Tesla. It charges quite quickly which i like And the best part is i can now charge at home instead of driving 15 miles o the closet charging station. that in it self is worth having this charger. It seems very durable and should last a very long time..

It's a durable unit with a significantly large diameter charge cord that puts the OEM unit to shame. The cord is longer and unit is smaller than the one provided by OEM. It provided an average of 30 miles per hour of charge. I went from 35% - 95% in 4 hours and 15 minutes. The plug is rugged with a dust cap that secures snug. It's a plug and play unit that my vehicle was able to pick up on instantly. It fits and clicks in to charger port with ease and a secure sound. The unit has a bright green LED that indicates charging and is easy to mount onto surface. This product exceeded my expectations of level 2 EV chargers.
