Six solar lights came in the package (not 8) along with extra stakes. They were easy to assemble. The ON switch is inside of the light, where the bulb is located. If it’s not switched on the lights will not work. I thought I purchased the black ones but received white ones, which is fine because the quality is great. They don’t look like the online photos, so I’ve attached photos for reference. They have a low profile during the day and provide enough light for a walkway at night.

We had some older, smaller lights in the yard that had quit working, so I wanted to replace them with something nicer looking. This set of striped glass lights was perfect! The set of 8 provided plenty of lights to go around our retaining wall, so I was even able to move 3 other working lights to a different location and have everything around our yard match. These lights are bright, and last all night long, until sunrise provides enough daylight to shut them off. The lights are plenty sturdy, and the solar cell is not a shiny, slick spot - so I think it will last much longer than some of my lights that have inferior cells that peel and wear. I'm very pleased with the look and the performance!

These outdoor lanterns were very easy to install and operate. I love that the height is adjustable. We’ve had them set up for a week now, and they have held up well in extremely hot weather and a few rain storms.

These solar lights are very nice. They are sturdy, height adjustable, and super bright. They have a large light area. I placed some in my front yard and will use the rest in other areas. I would definitely recommend these lights to friends and family.
