This light was an expensive disappointment unfortunately. First, it was seeded glass, which I couldn't initially tell from the picture. Even so, we decided to keep it, since it's quite heavy and would have been expensive to ship back. Then, we bumped it right at the edge (with a hand, not a sharp object), and the thin glass as the bottom made a clean crack, ruining the glass. I tried contacting wayfair (too late, too much time had passed) and then the manufacturer, but no reply from them. So now we have a multi-hundred dollar useless light fixture. boo
