This is a classy take on the popular natural stone LED lamps. Unlit, it looks more like a decorative stone sitting on a shelf than a light fixture, which is exactly what I was hoping for. It blends into the room nicely instead of screaming "LED lamp."
When illuminated, it still looks attractive, although on my particular stone it becomes a little harder to tell that it is actually stone rather than a molded plastic diffuser. Even so, it gives off a nice ambient glow and works well as a decorative accent.
My biggest complaint is the color of the light. The LED is a very warm yellow, which was not what I expected from the product photos. I was hoping the light would better complement the color of the stone itself. A more neutral white—or even a slightly green-tinted LED—would have done a better job highlighting the natural appearance of the material. Instead, the warm yellow changes the overall look of the stone quite a bit.
Because of the warm color temperature, I think this lamp works best in very low-light settings where warmer light feels cozy and intentional. The light output is actually quite strong for an accent lamp, easily bright enough to fill a dark corner with ambient light. It is not meant to be task lighting, but it performs that role well.
Overall, I really like the concept and think this is one of the nicer-looking natural stone LED lamps available. My only real criticism is the choice of LED color, which keeps it from looking quite as natural as it could.
