Abat-jour tambour en lin blanc H 9,5 po x l 10 po (araignée) (Ensemble de 2)

Over the past several weeks I’ve been looking for matching lampshades in 3 different sizes without spending $$$$ for each one. I bought a set of these lampshades and they look fabulous, totally modernizing the look of the room. They appear to be of good quality and at a fair price.

The perfect size for my small lamps. This particular size is a bit hard to find... narrow but yet still higher on the sides.

CHEAP LOOKING; PURCHASING MISTAKE! These shades look great---online. And they look great when the lamp is OFF or when you are looking at them straight away. But when you turn your lamps on, the silhouette of the wire frame that the shade screws onto casts a shadow on the lamp shade because the shade structure that receives the fabric is too thin. I have many lamps with white shades that do not suffer this problem because the shade material that receives the fabric is thicker. Pictures of the new shades are attached. What you are looking at is NOT the lampshade fabric seam. That seam is expected and is turned toward the back of the lamp. The shadows you see are cast on both sides of the shade by the wire frame that is between the small low voltage chandelier bulb and the shade. Terrible purchase. Looks cheap and thin. Too much trouble to return, so these are going to Goodwill. Yours will too. Don't buy these.

These are very pretty and well made. The material is smooth and they look nice on the lamps I ordered.

These shades were perfect for my bedside lamps. I ordered a second set in another size.
