We are remodeling our condo and updating the lighting. This industrial style little light caught my attention. It has a sophisticated contemporary look. The clear thick glass bowl under the matte black cage gives the lamp an expensive look. The description said the cord was 67 inches long. The cord is adjustable to a shorter length if needed. However, we have very high cathedral ceilings in our kitchen and 67 inches is a little bit shorter than the two lights we currently have hanging over the counter and sink area, but we thought it would work. We purchased only one of these lights to see how it looked and make sure we liked it before buying two. Not being electrically inclined we had our electrician come to hang it. He thought 67 inches would cause the light to hang too high, so he suggested using the hang cord from our former lights and attaching it to that. That’s what he did, and the photo shows how that looked. We were ok with that look if we put in a clear bulb. Then I went to the Wayfair website and tried to order a matching one. Unfortunately it was out of stock. I spent a morning searching the internet for the light hoping another company sold it. It was out of stock everywhere with an “unknown date of restocking”! So yesterday I ordered a different style light with a slightly longer cord. In conclusion I really liked this light, but I couldn’t buy a matching one and I want two lights in this spot.

Real cute light. Not a huge glass cover but will be all that is needed above my sink. Glass seems heavy enough to hold up to being cleaned & light bulb changes. Won't have to worry about it being delicate. Love the slip on wire cover that goes over it. Waiting on the electrician to install currently. Searched a while for the right light to blend with my black, gray & off white kitchen & this will be just what I needed. Should blend in terrific with the stainless look also. So happy with this purchase.
