The description of these lights are completely false. The picture and description show a clear glass with speckles. The glass is not at all clear. It's heavily tinted a gray color and blocks a ton of light. Also, the "Volcanic" speckles are tinted a black color. So the glass is shaded dark gray, with black spots all over.

This light is very good looking. i was impressed by how nice it was and how inexpensive. it looks good hung either way.
