This lamp looks great but the stem screws into the base and both lamps purchased broke. Each lamp does not sit straight as the base is likely to break off at some point.

Beautiful lamp! I bought two for my bedroom nightstands and love them. The marble is nice and heavy, creating a sturdy base. The color of the gold is matte and really nice. Even the cord is a nice braided version.
