The only reason that I gave four instead of five stars is that the picture appears to show that the base of the lamp (glass) has a gold sheen. It does not and is simply a reflection of the light from the bulb/room. If you carefully review the pictures, you will note that when the light is off, the base is a slightly darker blue color. Otherwise, the lamp is beautiful and I am very pleased with my purchase.

Using in bedroom on night stands. They’re near windows and allow extra light through during the day and filtered light from the bulb at night. Creates an illusion of more airy space and adds to the overall feel of the space. Helps to offset the wood in the room. Would recommend!

This is a beautiful lamp. Not too flashy, it blends in well while also holding its own. The shade does have a shadowed line in it when the light is on. Other than that, I absolutely love it!

These lamps matches my bed set perfect.

I really like the blue lamps in our bedroom. Just tall and big enough.
