The built was surprisingly of good quality. I thought it would be light weight thin metal, but this thing has some weight to it and sturdy. There are absolutely no assembly instructions for the fixture itself, just wiring instructions. I had to continue to adjust the fixture to get it leveled, and to stop tilting to one side or another. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the purchase. It's a statement piece.
