Great fan for a large room. I have it black side down for the blades. There is a faux wood side in a walnut color. I have a wall switch that turns it on and off. I may add a control for the fan. My house has too many remotes. I live in the desert. A fan is a must for comfortable living. My electricians said it was one of the nicest fans they have installed.

Do not buy if you are looking for wall control! The description says remote and wall control included. Upon arrival there is only a receiver and remote in the box. I’m a builder and find the remotes to be very tacky and it is expensive to buy the wall control switch separately. False advertisement….
