Well, you know when you see these lit, you can't look away - they are sooooooo bright! Sort of a fun item and fasicination for me as they are so small but so bright. Technology has come a long way! Since it's March, I have them near a window just across my shelf in the kitchen - not so creative but at night, the lights do that simply for the "green" and brightness. The only thing I didn't do correctly in my mind was to determine its' length so it's a small item about 5' length - I love to use things that don't require a lot of electricity so I put the batteries in and use them for March color! During the Holidays, I used one solar light string across balcony and then my usual plug-in types so when there was sun, the solar twinkled very pretty by themselves and if no sun (which happens) I used the plug in types. I love energy-efficient!
