One of them came in a little damaged and was a little flimsy. Otherwise very pretty but not worth the price.

Beautiful torchiere lamp, the wood pole is nice and thick and has a beautiful cherry color. The shade is shallow, so if you don't want to see a regular size light bulb, you'll have to buy another glass shade; which is what I did.

elegant lighting piece, but hard to find appropriate bulb with sufficient brightness

A bit disappointed. The bulb that was recommended stood higher than the glass bowl and looked ridiculous. Had to hunt for a very small round bulb. The foot pedal to switch the lamp on and off and control the dimmer did not work. Trying to get the foot pedal only replaced to avoid returning the whole thing.
