I installed it in my living room and it looks great in the room. I love the color black because it goes with everything. I am happy with the square design too. I have never had recessed lighting before but it is great. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 4” circle framed recessed light that I replaced with the NuWatt 6” square recessed housing light. Installation was incredibly simple and fast. Really nice that the new 6” square frame completely covered my older 4” light residue. I would say this would easily do the same for replacing 6” circle light frames since this is a square frame. There are 5 kelvin temperature settings that range from 2700-5000. I set mine to 5000 and WOW that is bright. I think my family is more used to the 2700 with all our other lights, but love being able to get the much brighter setting. I went ahead and installed a wireless dimmer switch to control the light and love it. Build quality seems to be on the high end and it does add a sleek contemporary look where it is located. Would highly recommend to others.
