Beautiful lamp and easy to assemble

Love the lamp, but one came in cracked. Thing is, the cracked piece was missing, which means the lamp went into the shipping box, cracked. Wayfair only gave me 25% of the total cost, even though 50% of my lamps (2 to an order) were damaged beyond use. After beating them up for like 15 minutes, I got a 10% off one item coupon that I used on patio furniture that I canceled and immediately reordered (forget to add my Wayfair dollars) and then, the Coupon expired (just got it today) I love Wayfair but today was not a great experience.

I am delighted with these lamps! You won’t believe how compact the box they arrive in is, and when you open the box, you see how they are deconstructed. These lamps are a feat in engineering, and I say that in earnest. The shades are flat strips that assemble in a minute to beautiful shades. My husband laughed when he saw the assembly required, but he was swiftly impressed that I had both lamps in use on our nightstands in about five minutes. The touch button is a cinch to use. My only complaint is that the charging ports are both to the right of the button and the cord, so on one side of the bed, the charging ports face you, and on the other side of the bed, they face away from you, but no one else will notice that.

The most important consideration when choosing these lamps was their height. I wanted to replace the tall lamps in my bedroom but didnt care for the skinny profile that most tall lamps have. I took a chance on these, thinking that they would come close. Disappointed then to find they are a full inch or more shorter than the 28.5 advertised. I substituted a taller harp and finial and loosened all connections to squeeze out another inch.
