Product description states it takes a 100 watt bulb. Lamp arrived and it is clearly labeled as only being able to use 25 watts. Purchased this to be a desk lamp for a poorly lit bedroom. Will use it as mood lighting for the bedroom but will need to purchase an additional lamp.

Nice, but ceramic base is not of high quality, but only will notice this when u touch it.
