This was the perfect light for my kitchen because my ceiling has a slope and all the one's I liked was flush mounted then I saw this one and it has 2 different length chains plus it has a fan that's enclosed inside the cage so I don't have to worry about the fan blades hitting the ceiling I've never been able to have a ceiling fan in my kitchen but now I do and I love it, it's a great quality product.

The assembly on this is not for the weak! SO MANY PIECES! It wasnt difficult, but it was a LOT of steps. I really like that the “pole” at the top looks like a hanging chain and there are two lengths to choose from. The fan blades are a single piece and interlock, so I expect the fan to be very stable. It also has a remote with timer function that I’m excited about. Will add to this review once it is installed, but i’m excited about how beautiful it is!

The fan itself is pretty but a little light/flimsy in the amount of metal used. It's quite difficult to assemble as the nuts are extremely tiny. I'm a very petite woman with size 5 gloved hands and it was difficult for me to place the screw caps. I had to return the fan for an internal wiring malfunction but did request a replacement...better luck the second time!
