Extremely dangerous - more than "heavy." I purchased for a glass top table - not. I can think of no setting where this would be safe - a rather large heavy wooden table in a corner maybe. It is a 25# block of marble under a tall shade, so there is height to increase probability of a fall/ knock off. Packaging inside was totally destroyed from the weight rolling around inside - teeny teeny bits of styrofoam everywhere - on the walls, floor, everywhere. Now I am waiting on hold for supervisor, having been told to just return with damaged packaging - a 25# wt to roll around and injure someone - shade will be totally destroyed. AND I am to pay shipping to return. CAVET EMPTOR!!!!!
