Lampe de table DEL Infinity Dodecahedron Magic

I purchased this for a sensory room in a preschool. It is similar to infinity mirrors that are often suggested for these rooms. While you can't see yourself in the lamp, watching the patterns and LED lights move is incredibly calming. So far the adults in our school have been mezmorized by it.

Unit was dead out of the box. It is difficult to report the failure because the report form addresses only replacement parts but no way to say that a device is completely inoperative. I am waiting for the replacement unit now. Hopefully it will work.

I can’t give this lamp 1 star because it’s pretty much what was advertised. But really, it’s a cheapo bit of plastic. I thought it was advertised as an outdoor table lamp (maybe I’m wrong), but I would have expected it to be battery operated. Instead it needs to be plugged in and the wires look like someone stripped them. The finished product looks unfinished. It does have a remote to change the colors but either it doesn’t work well or isn’t very Intuitive. It might be a good novelty for a teenage basement party. Let’s just say I won’t be buying another.

I got this for my son’s room and he absolutely loves it. It has so many different options and settings. Works great and I have to agree with him it’s actually very cool looking. You can even use it as a night light.

This thing looks just plain awesome, whether it’s powered on, or just sitting there in its off state. It arrived with a very minor chip on one of the edges, but seemed to be packaged very well overall even including protective film over each of the mirrored surfaces. While it’s USB-powered, it does not come with a “block” plug — I had trouble finding one that it worked with. It would power on then shut off intermediately. Aside from that, it’s a really awesome and unique addition to my space!
