My original review of this lamp from seven years ago was five stars. After six years, the switch failed and would not click on. I had to manually turn the switch to put the light on. As a result, you had to be sure all bulbs were dark and the lamp was turned off while not in use. I purchased this again in June, 2026. The lamp is so beautiful I hoped for better luck this time. My handyman put the lamp together and turned it on and then he used the dimmer function. I turned the lamp off and then I attempted to turn it on again and it was dead including the switch not clicking on and only turning but lights did not function. Luckily, I did this while my handyman was still present so he could box it back up. Wayfair issued an immediate refund. This is a beautiful lamp, but it is clearly defective. Within minutes of the lamp assembly, it died. Wayfair needs to discontinue selling this lamp. They need to reach out to the manufacturer to have a quality check done. Do not buy this lamp!
