Lanterne

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Generation Lighting Luning Modern Dark Sky compliant 1-light small outdoor wall lantern fixture is a beautiful, simple modern design that focuses the light down where it is needed. I like that it does not shine in my eyes like my previous fixture. It was very easy and quick to install. The wires were a perfect length and didn't need any adjustments. It uses one A-19 75 watt light bulb.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lamp is perfect for the aesthetic of my Victorian-style home. It gives off a great amount of light and was easy to assemble and install. The shade seems very durable and well crafted.

Install was easy to understand. I will say, I do wish the white outside piece was more sheer to let light through. It blocked the light. So the light was only shining down. It would have been more beneficial if the light was able to come through the sides as well.

The light seems to be sturdy, but I haven’t had any strong wind or storms since installing it. The white liner around the light bulb does not allow light to pass through, so the light only shines down out the bottom. Since it uses a standard light bulb, you can select the brightness and color you are looking for. I used a 5K LED bulb and am happy with the light being put out. The only dislike I have for the light is its mounting base. My lights are installed on double gang boxes. The light base does not cover the whole box like a lot of others do. It would by nice to have the mounting base a little larger around so you cannot see the box. Other than this, I am very happy with this light.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fixture has a really clean architectural look. The black frame against the white center, gives it enough contrast to stand out, but the overall design is simple enough that it would work with a lot of different exterior styles. I especially like that it is a dark sky compliant one because outdoor lighting can easily become way too harsh.
