This fixture was purchased to hang over a kitchen sink. It looks great, except for the unattractive black cord. I may purchase a thin silver tube to cover it. The shade is very pretty, and it was easy to install.

Back hanging cord is not appealing, but fixture itself is beautiful.

Really love the glass on this one - for some reason I mistakenly thought there was a cover on the cord - there is not it is a heavy black cord that the globe hangs from. Nice but my error in thinking it was brushed nickel like the top of the light - will make it work as the light is a great size and I do love the glass. Pros: Very nice size - don't see the bulb hanging out Cons: Wish the cord was covered with nickel pieces
