I use this in my craft room. It is extremely bright and the magnifier is fantastic. I can see thing using this lamp that I would have never been able to see without it. I love that I can put it in one formation to be a floor lamp and I can do a quick presto change and it turns into a desk lamp. How clever is that.

Excellent light for crafting and reading fine print. Purchased this as a gift for my mother in law, it’s used almost daily. She uses it as a floor lamp, it’s very stable and well put together. I would definitely recommend it.

Exactly what I needed for crafts projects for my aging eyes. Also good for Zoom calls.

The base is quite heavy, making the lamp very steady in both the table and floor configurations. My biggest complaint is that the neck is not flexible enough in either position. I find it very difficult to direct the magnifier to the book’s surface from a comfortably seated position. The magnifier is always too high. Disappointed.

I have had several Ottlite floor lamps with magnifiers, but wanted a new one in case the lights started to burn out. My husband was looking for a Christmas gift so I suggested this lamp. On Christmas Day we assembled it and when I sat in my chair with the light at my side, the glass was about a foot over my head. I could not see through it. I had no choice but to return the lamp.
