It is definitely an upgrade to the older model. I liked the migration option as well.

It very often does not work and needs to be rebooted or have the button pushed. After about a year it just stopped responding and showing offline. Absolute Trash.

Great product! As I stated on other reviews, I am a certified installer for Lutron Ketra, and chose this and the Hue package for my home. Between price point and quality I am exceptionally pleased with what Philip Hue provides. Just take your time. Watch youtube if need be, take in all the features and implement them. Awesome product!!

Wow this is the most poorly engineered product I have ever purchased. My degree is in electrical engineering and I can not get this thing to function. It connects to my network and is recognized by the app but refuses to turn on the ZigBee radio. I therefore can not add any lights or switches. I have tried WiFi, wired ethernet, connecting directly to my ISPs router, and everything else I could think of or find on the internet, including performing a factory reset multiple times and even purchasing another Bridge Pro in case the first one was defective. You have been warned.
