[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t completely sold on the brown finish at first but after seeing it installed on our wall, it really grew on me and I actually prefer it over a black fixture. It complements our dark brown, terracotta roof and fence perfectly. We’ve been gradually replacing our outdoor light fixtures and like other fixtures, this one also did not include a lightbulb, which is a bit inconvenient. Installation was quick and easy. (under 5 minutes) but we did have to make a trip to the hardware store for a bulb. I love that the light automatically turns on at dusk and off at dawn, but it can also be controlled from a switch inside of our home if needed. The size is just right and I really like the clean lines and sharp edges, especially the detail on top. It’s a big upgrade from our old rusted and work out spotlight. Even though that one used two big lightbulbs, this single lightbulb light fixture still provides plenty of light.

The black and gold combo looks high-end against our siding and really elevated the look of our front steps. The light is versatile. I used it with a warm candelabra bowl as well as a flickering flame E12 LED, and they both look magnificent through the clear glass. Plus, this light has a dusk to dawn sensor, which means it's one less thing I have to remember to do. Installation was a breeze since the wires are prepared and it is pretty much assembled. I just popped off the mounting bracket and attached it to the house. The only extra tools that I needed were screws that were a little bit longer as the ones included didn't reach the wood underneath my siding. If I were picky I would be bothered by the interior caulking on the left-hand side of the light was a bit lumpy, but other than that, it was extremely well-made and beautiful to look at.
