I really like this lamp in terms of style, construction and materials. The included LED bulb is way too bright, but replace it with the suggested optional Edison-style incadescent bulb for a soft, amber glow when dimmed. Assembly could be tricky for a novice.

3 stars. PROS: (a) Elegant; (b) slim-line for small corner; (c) ‘warms’ the room with the golden light. CONS: (i) The light is extremely bright. Hurts eyes — like someone is repeatedly taking flash photography in the area it is at. (ii) Poor manufacturing as one twists the lamp post together and the electrical cord is strung inside of it. Cheap.
