My fault, I didn't consider the background light ~ this light is yellow. My front porch light is white, and I wanted to keep the same look. I will have to be more careful when purchasing.

Solid, attractive fixture. Light reflects prettily on wall when turned on at night. Doesn't fit perfectly against our wood siding, otherwise would have given it 5 stars. But this small "problem" is not a function of something inferior re product - so definitely would recommend it to others .
