I wanted to like this but it just missed the mark for me. It's one of those items where a quick glance it's good but there are details that make it look cheap. The plates on arms where the bulbs screw in are crooked though this might be fixable because it's pretty soft metal. The shade comes in a roll and you wrap it around then secure it with velcro but that seam is just too noticeable. The wonky velcro line detracts from the overall look too much for me.

Elegant and beautiful. Great price. Does come in several pieces but easily assembles. Love the contract of the black drum shade against the gold metals.

Looks great in my office. Dressy but not over the top formal. Would recommend this light for a variety of styles

Shade is a snap on shade but it works well and looks great! Arrived quickly and looks very nice in my great room

It's a really pretty light. The gold color & appearance is accurate to the picture. You do have to put it together. The only thing that I do not like about the appearance is that the you have to attach the black shade with a velcro seam. I will hang it so that the seam is to the back of the room, but would not have expected that.
