This lamp is so beautiful and very heavy, the workmanship is impeccable. I just wish that the finial was better designed so as not to move when tightened.

The base helps make it very airy because you can see through it. The Black shade is a wonderful elegant touch, Truly the most beautiful little lamp you will every own. I leave it on all day and night. The switch turns smoothly like a dimmer instead of clicking when you change the light intensity.
