Lampe de table standard 27,5 po Nikole

I purchased this gold trim 27" height/ 12" front, width/ 8" side, width, this mid Size / HEAVY/ delicate lamp to blend in with my wall, @ Day light, the lamp disappears into the wall due to the translucent shade, when I switch on the light, the lamp is a decore & lighting. It's a 3 way light control. Spend some time on light bulb choices it makes huge difference in the way you want the lamp to be presented. The lamp is very sterdy & heavy due to white marble base. I'm not crazy about the shiny gold trim somehow it makes this lux lamp look cheep yet because the translucent shade make up most of the lamp structure you can over look the shiny gold trim. I've had this lamp approximately 5 years & just decided to review based on my use & satisfaction with this lamp.

I am writing to let you know the light is nice, and very expensive. The hi low feature does not work. I have swapped out light bulbs, used the factory included light bulb, and exchanged this light 3 times in hopes of finding one that has a hi low feature that works. In every case, with every light, the factory included light bulb flickered, my swapped out light bulbs that I have tried (over 4 of them each time) have all flickered. I have contacted lamps plus and their resolution was to try a different light bulb, the reality is the hi low does not work.
