Had to give it a coat of paint... the wood was just too yellowish...

I've purchased a ton of really amazing items on Wayfair, but this is definitely not one of them. It's quite lousy, actually. I like distressed (shabby chic) items. My dining table and chairs have a distressed finish, and they look great. With these sconces, the paint is literally flaking off. It's not a finish, it's just terrible construction. And the color is less 'warm white' and more of taupe/brown. It's such a let down. If I hadn't bought the open-box version that was unreturnable, I would've sent it back.

Great sconce, but I agree with with other reviews, the antique finish is almost yellow.

Sturdy and like picture, except that it not as white as shown in the picture. Almost a light tan.
