The end product is beautiful. I added a ceiling medallion and will be adding molding on the walls to accentuate the French motif. The instructions were atrocious. They were written for a non-US electrical schema. I strongly recommend hiring a licensed electrician to install this correctly. The paper instructions and the website potentially contradicted each other because the paper said 220 Volt and the website says 110 volt. For installation, a fair budget is 8-12 hours of electrician labor. This is assuming your electrical outlet box is blanked-offready for use, and it is properly rated for the fixture weight. We also needed a helper to setup a 16 ft stepladder in the 18 ft tall foyer ceiling and 4 hrs to assemble the individual crystals and pass them to the installer during mounting. Helper spent 17.5 hours on this, to include travel time getting the bulbs. One of the most time-consuming parts for me was to decide exactly which kind of bulbs to get. I landed on. 40w-equivalent LED flame-shaped bulbs. You need 33 of them. 60w-equivalent is more readily available, but would have been way too bright. I chose dimmable just in case I wanted to change my mind. I went with. 2700 lumens. Hope that helps!

Stunningly gorgeous! This is exactly what I was hoping for! It’s a good thing. My husband is an electrician because this was quite a bit of work to put together, and I did the crystals which took about four hours alone.. but this is also a very large chandelier which requires more work because there’s more parts. It is truly a statement peace.

I didn’t quite realize what I was choosing when I picked this chandelier. It IS pretty… but it’s definitely more “Vegas showgirl” type glam than “Versailles antique” if that makes sense. The metal is very shiny rose gold, not brass toned. Also, be prepared for a MAJOR challenge putting it together. You have to build and wire through multiple tiers, then fasten all the crystals with tiny little metal brads. Even with the video tutorial, I still found it difficult. I am a good 1.5 hours in and haven’t even started on the crystals yet. If you’re not comfortable with electrical wiring, a different light might be a better choice.
