The glass is pretty but not what you'd want to hang over a kitchen sink as the light is still in your face even when raising it up. The cord that the light hangs from reminds me of shoe lace material.

These look pretty online but be aware that they hang from the ceiling by a chord, not with a metal rod to cover the chord. It makes them look very cheap, in my opinion. I returned them. Definitely not what I was looking for.
