[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two disclaimers: I did receive this unit in exchange for my honest review. This unit was not installed. I do personally like the SkyPlug and SkyOutlet technology. I will be looking out for it when I next go to purchase household lighting fixtures. The hardware is solid and easy to install. And easy to uninstall... The lamp never made it on the house for multiple reasons. The main reason was how large it is. I genuinely thought it would be about 2/3rds the size of this lamp. Something quaint and small for the front of the house. This is much too large and it would block out my house numbers if it were installed. I did include a photo of it next to a cinder block in my garden for scale. It is gorgeous, and I've spent weeks trying to find a place to put it. Due to other household projects and emergencies (appliances died), finding this a home is on a back burner. The other reason is the glass panels. Fitting them into the unit is difficult and not noted in the instructions. They also feel rough and have waves, dots, and rough edges to them. I understand this could be to achieve a vintage look for the lamp. I do not like it. I thought the glass would be clear and flat. I may see if I can color the glass. Overall, the lamp itself is well made and gorgeous, but not for me. The SkyOutlet was easy to install (and uninstall). I never plugged the unit into the outlet, but it looked straight forward enough. It's perfect for the person who wants to swap out their lamps easily and I will absolutely purchase a different style in the future.

It's made well, and its design and light create a lovely ambiance at my front door. It was the easiest lamp installation we've ever experienced, with straightforward and clear directions. The whole process was simple. It's a beautiful lamp that adds a luminous glow to my front door. I definitely recommend it!
