Cheaply Constructed and flimsy to operate. Hard pass. Wants to tip over when turned on or off.

It looks great from a distance, but the wood does not completely come together at the top on one side, and it is visible because the cord would be visible if I turned it around. I’m keeping it to avoid the hassle of returning. I should have heeded previous reviews.

While I like the look of these lamps, they aren't heavy and can easily be knocked over. We recently kept my niece's cat for her and he was all too easily able to knock it over. I wouldn't suggest them for a household that has pets or small children for that reason for sure. Plus, the shades leave a lot to be desired. They're nice, but yet rather cumbersome to reach up into to turn the switch.
