I ordered and received this lamp a few months ago as we were redoing our living room. We put up the lamp as soon as ready and the look added nicely to the room. A month or so ago the on/off knob came off and exposed a screw-like piece. The knob does not go back on leaving it impossible to turn on the light. Obviously this is unacceptable and we do not know how to correct the issue. I do not want to keep an inferior lamp. What is the solution?

I'm not sure if it was a defect or the design, but the upper arm portion of the lamp didn't align properly with the base. It curved to one side and made the lamp look very cheap.
