Well, it will do for my purposes but the quality not quite what I expected. It's plastic. But it worked for my husbands office and spurs fan (which is what I ordered).

My nephew is a New York sports team fanatic and the Nicks lamp was a perfect addition to his sports room! The plastic shade is very practical for a bunch of rowdy guys!

Perfect for the man cave. Light weight and can be hung anywhere that has an outlet. Like how I can move around if needed since there is no hard wire.
