Highly recommend if you are considering-well packed -read the instructions for assembling-you want to make sure you connect the light switch to the base when pulling the electric cord-~for me this was a two man job but I’m 75- someone younger could do this alone with ease-beautiful base and I love its finial-I might paint the shade with a water-down paint color-just doing various abstract shapes-definitely a five star item
