This fan is awesome. Keeps my room quite chilly while underneath it. Would recommend.

Edited After having this fan for a few months and now getting into the colder weather, we switched the fan to the clockwise setting. I uploaded a new video of the fan on setting 1 (the lowest setting) in the clockwise direction, and it makes a very loud noise and seems to be running faster than a typical low setting on a fan. I would have chosen a different fan if I had known it would make such loud noises. This fan really pushes air! Even on the lowest setting, you can feel a strong breeze—it definitely does its job. The only downside is that it makes some noise on the higher settings. Not sure if that’s due to the fan itself or the installation.
