The idea behind this is brilliant. I just wasn't so sure about the dimensions provided to order the correct item for my lights - and I didn't. The outside width is 5" and the inside clips to hold inside the recessed can are 4." If this lasts less than the 50,000 hours advertised, I would be hesitant as throwing away a single light bulb seems environmentally preferable to throwing away this entire apparatus. One star deducted for lack of adequate dimensions in the listing. I didn't get to try the various settings because, alas, my smallest can light is actually 6 inches, so I'll have to try the appropriate size. I recommend ordering just one first to assure it fits before ordering several. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition, though. yay!

Great recessed lighting kit with 2 types of connectors and options to change color gradients. It was very easy to install. Loved the option to change colors and I picked the one that matched my other lights.
