This lamp is so chic! It’s very unassuming when you first see it because it’s all white, but when you turn it on and see all the detail in the rock- it’s just stunning. It adds sophistication without needing color, making it perfect for white room. It has good weight too. Easy to put together and add bulbs to.

This alabaster lamp base is beautiful - heavy, well-proportioned, made even more lovely with that inner glow. It is a small lamp, and probably not the right proportions for the corner end table between my two sofas. With the main bulb and the bulb in the base, it can give off a lot of light. It arrived well cushioned and in perfect condition. You’ll need a standard E26 lightbulb (not the E27 listed in the website product details) - max 45W incandescent or 15W LED, plus a tiny G9 LED bulb - max 5W LED - for this. I wish the website had listed this, so I knew what kind of bulbs I would need. I chose a G9 bulb with the same 3000K color temperature as the main lightbulb I had. Installation of the G9 bulb in the base is a little tricky. It comes with a small wrench, which you need to use vertically to help reach the nut inside the base. Lefty-loosely that off, and set aside the nut. Make sure the lamp shade and bulb are disconnected. Push the cord into its hole in the base and gently pull the the lamp fitting at the top away from the base. You’ll see a two-pronged plug come up. Plug in the tiny G9 LED. Plug it in to power to test that it’s working (if you have a hard time telling whether it’s plugged in securely enough), then unplug it again and reassemble everything in opposite order. The lamp has two switches — one on the cord to turn both bulbs on or off, and one by the top fitting to turn the main bulb on or off. You cannot turn just the main light on and not the base. This is more than I would generally pay for a table lamp, and I hope that is telling of its quality. For the price of the lamp, I have two complaints. First, the white lampshade makes the whole lamp look cheaper. A linen or silk lampshade in a slightly warmer off-white would look nicer with the gorgeous alabaster base. Second, it’s smaller than an average table lamp. This does not hold its own next to a long sofa or a king-sized bed, for example. Still, I can’t stop admiring this sweet lamp and its nice glow.

Lovely lamp Pros: The design and quality are very cute and I love the base also lights up for extra design. It is smaller than I thought so pay attention to the size. Con: You do have to install the bulb in the base which is a specialty light bulb I had to buy it was not expensive. But it would be super helpful if they included it as is not a normal bulb. It’s also difficult to install you have to unscrew a bolt in the bottom and pull the lamp apart. Not super difficult but getting that bolt can be tricky. I don't expect to have to do that very often so it should be one and done. Over all I still really like it but just know about the bulb.

Cute lamp with great light for my small dining area off my kitchen! Just enough light to illuminate the room at night. Seems durable and blends with a variety of room designs. It looked a little larger in photos than it is in person.

Cute, smaller than I had thought but it’s the perfect night lite for my office. I like that the base also lights up. Didn’t get much variations in the alabaster base like the stock photo but it’s still nice.
