Bought these to go on the garage, once the build is done. They are stylish and perfect for over garage doors. They are more of a dark grey then black black, but still will be perfect. Rough texture on them, not a smooth finish. Highly recommend

I love this outdoor light so much. It is not really black, but more of a dark gray. I was pleased to see the choice in sizes which I think is very helpful depending on intended use. If you are using two of them on either side of a standard door, for example, I would recommend the smaller size. The shape is absolutely perfect. Simple, streamlined and beautiful!

Update- We got the light hung above the garage, and I have to say that I love the color and the light that it provides is great. I give this 4 stars due to the smaller size than I expected. While I realize that I should have actually done a visual of the measurements, I really thought it would be a bit larger in scope. However, it is really cute. I’m not as impressed with the color as I thought I would be and again,that’s my bad. The description says, “zinc” for the color, but looks more black. I may just do a little black spray paint on it to give it some depth, but as soon as I can get my husband to install it, I’ll post another photo. I do think it’s going to work just fine. It does seem to be made of good material and will hold a 100 watt bulb, so it will serve the purpose of providing light outside with a little style.

I should have read the dimensions. It is a lot smaller than i would have liked.
