This lamp was advertised as the extension being 59 inches. It's only 36 inches. I am returning the lamp.

Perfect addition to our kitchen! Really needed more light over the sink. This really fit the bill!

Great looking light, however, the China shows through on the pulleys and axles for the pulleys. The bolts going through the pulleys are about 1/3 the size of the holes in the pulleys. Very sloppy. They could have put nylon bushings in there. If your plan is to move these lights up and down a lot, well, I suggest you bark up a different tree!

Beware: the shade is not 11.8"...only about 8
