The replacement part is of fair quality (e.g., the lamp socket is flimsy and the plastic globe doesn't afford the best possible fit. Nevertheless, I installed it, it works, and that'll do for now (i.e., until I can find a part in the distant future that exhibits a higher degree of quality manufacturing. Bottom line, this was easy to install, installation instructions were adequate, and like stated above, "it works." Pros: Easy installation Cons: The manufactured product reflects an adequate degree of quality.

Crippled no more .... truly! I can walk again!! My knees no longer throb nor ache like yesterday : ) Intuitively, I wondered if part of living with chronic pain could be blamed on winter. and a spring mattress. Since (2010) moving downstairs felt miserable and as each year of nasty damp weather arrived I felt so horribly and hopeless for relief. I blamed the increasing RA chronic pain on the 1st floor drafty north east wind conditions, damp rain, and lack of insullation. In a last effort, I swapped out my mattress for this 2" topper and a new 10" gel foam matresss from Wayfair. The result are wonderful I can walk easier and the knee pain is nearly history. I want to call attention to all who suffer from spinal or RA; this small investment = huge rewards! Best to give this duo at least 1 weekto re-align your spine/chalkras. First night woke up so tightly gripped in the lower lumbar actually scared and startled I may not move again. Then slowly I began gently rocking from side to side until the frozen feeling subsided. FinaIly, I stood without so much knee & leg discomfort. Each successive night the chronic pain diminishes. Today, I don't want to get out of bed because am so so comfy.
