This light fixture was purchased for a stairway. The brown wood and black metal blended perfectly with my open living space and entry way! The three lights illuminate the stairs without blinding you and you can use different led bulbs either standard bases depending on your style and wattage -equivalent preferences. The fixture is dimmable but we chose not to use dimmable switches for stairway safety. I chose three 40 watt equivalent led bulbs instead. Totally up to you and your own style preference and location needs. The light comes with a generous amount of chain so the length is very adjustable. Perfect and a terrific price!

The wood is slightly lighter than it appears in the photos online. We are very happy with this light in our foyer! One of the key reasons we selected this one is it has a much longer chain for our two-story foyer than most options. Easy to hang. Very pleased.

We purchased this lantern for our staircase as I wanted a light that was tall and thin. I like that you can see through the bottom and the top. The 4 lights provide enough light in the dark area.
