I bought and returned so many pendant lights it was insane. Finally settled on these and love them. I like that they had a solid down rod with several lengths to choose from. Pay attention to the cord on lights - many of them are just wires that don't hang straight.

Very easy to install and looks great. There is a swivel at the top to allow the light to be installed on an angled ceiling. I don't think I realized that when I ordered, but the swivel is inconspicuous enough to not be seen when installed on a traditional ceiling. The glass housing is perfect size for traditional incadescent bulbs. We use LED light bulbs which still provide a soft, yet bright addition to our kitchen. With 3 installed, it is bright enough to provide adequate light above our bar.
