This item was returned to Wayfair because our family was out of town due to a family emergency. I keep hoping that Customer Service deletes it from my product list because I never received the item--thanks!

So, let me explain my review because the truth is - I think this lamp is absolutely incredibly gorgeous and I think the old timey vintage look it has can create a whole atmosphere! The actual design and the way it looks when it is lit is awesome. Having said that: I don't know what happened with the size and description. I originally got this to be the main lighting fixture in a medium-sized bedroom and I'm usually pretty good about looking up specs on these things but I imagined it would be like a foot and half wide or something. It is TINY!! Not sure if you can tell from this but the entire width is only about a quarter to half a foot. I apologize the photos are not the best but this is also because we ended up putting it in a much smaller room (the laundry room) because the fixture is so small and so that is why there is so much clutter and stuff on the walls and ceilings in the background of the photos. In the description in the actual little installation pamphlet/papers it comes with - it says it's for like a pool table and actually - if you do have a billiard room type space and you got two or three of these - that would probably be the most perfect thing to hang right above. Otherwise, it's kind of hard to find the a space where this lamp really works which is why I gave the not terrific review of only three stars. Lastly, since it seems we were using this lamp for something other than what it was originally intended - the top metal part (mount) that connects to the ceiling that the lamp came with wasn't big enough to cover the whole in the ceiling that was already there with the previous original fixture so we ended up having to purchase a separate mount (in bronze to match what was already there) which worked out okay... but should warn you that you may have to purchase a separate mount also if you are replacing a fixture that was larger and thus necessitated a larger hole in the ceiling beforehand.

This is WAY too cute It looks like someone shrunk down a regular sized Tiffany looking light. It is in my computer room and adds just the right light. Very easy to install . No glare, just very soft lighting. I would highly recommend this to anyone. 1st pic is light off, 2nd is light on.
