Beautiful and sets a completely new atmosphere in the room

These provide a beautiful, soft amber glow -- very dim, ambient lighting -- it can soften even the harshest of overhead lights!!! However, it will not light a room well enough for you to read / work/ clean, etc.

I hate lampshades on lamps next to my bed. These don't need them. They don't take up much room and I get compliments on them when people see them

These are not what I hoped for. Basically it just looks like a lightbulb so nothing special which is disappointing as I was hoping for something more unique for the price. Not bad but not different from a standard bulb

Just as pictured.
